The Junior Order Civic Club of Elkton’s annual field day celebration continues through July 6 at Blue Ridge Park in Elkton. The event features live music, carnival rides, antique tractors, yard sale, a parade, fireworks and more.

James Madison’s Montpelier offers a free historic landscape tour Sunday, July 7, at 1 p.m. Peel back 250 years of landscaping, one layer at a time, to learn how the grounds of Montpelier became a trove of champion trees and unique plantings, cultivated over generations.
