The Detroit Lions have a decision to make about Matt Patricia's future. And one NFL owner might have the right logic. Filmed Dec. 4, 2019. Dave Birkett and Carlos Monarrez, Detroit Free Press
If you are in that camp, well, sorry to disappoint you, but you're not in luck. The Fords still own the Lions.
But you certainly can make your feelings known by wearing a T-shirt to show your disgust with the Ford family, which has owned the Lions since Nov. 22, 1963, an infamous day in American history for a far more terrible reason.
Barstool, a sports and pop culture blog, has crafted a "Sell The Team" shirt for $28 in the Lions' font with Martha Ford's face, complete with sunglasses, on the front.

Another site called The DLine is selling a variety of "Sell The Team" gear featuring a similar design, for purchase on hoodies, phone cases, posters and more. That T-shirt costs $18.09.
The Lions are 3-8-1 in coach Matt Patricia's second season, after going 6-10 in his first year, and are on their way to finishing last in the NFC North for the second year in a row.
The team fired previous coach Jim Caldwell after consecutive 9-7 seasons, with general manager Bob Quinn saying that record was not good enough. Quinn then hired Patricia, his buddy from their days with the New England Patriots.

The tandem has been an epic failure to this point, with the Lions losing eight of their past nine games to put Patricia-Quinn on the hot seat.
